As of May 1, 2008 a new form for Eagle Scout Rank Application will be required. You must use Form 58-728A dated 2008 Boy Scouts of America. These forms are available NOW at SHAC, all Scout Shops, or online from www.BSA.org or www.NESA.org. The only change is for Requirement 5 where now the Project Name and Grand Total of Hours must be listed. In order to meet the deadline for National Council BSA, the district will not be accepting any old forms after February 15, 2008 to make sure that the May deadline is met. Your Unit's Advancement Chair should register for online advancement access, to enter your Unit's records the modern digital way. This is a huge improvement! You can also download your roster, check ID numbers, etc. 24/7. Read about how to do it here.

Eagle Scout Citizenship Award

CCISD High Schools offers the School - Scout Citizenship Award to recognize students who have given their school outstanding honor in various skill areas and who have represented their school’s finest ethical and moral character by attaining the Eagle Rank. It is important for the Scout Leaders to keep the coordinators for each High School informed as to the students who qualify for the Award from his/her Troop. If you have any Eagles graduating from any of these high schools, please contact TBD for Clear Lake HS; Frank Steel for Clear Brook HS and Debbie Ulcznyski (281-334-2931) for Clear Creek HS.
