Every Scout Deserves a Trained Leader
Trained leaders provide a
quality, fun-filled program for boys and young men and young women. When
leaders understand the whys and hows of Scouting, they are more effective
in their roles and the youth win!
Scouting is a lifetime of learning. Its a game with a
purpose. Scouting teaches skills not only to the youth, but also to
its adult volunteers as well. Training programs have been designed
to teach each volunteer the keys to success in his or her position.

Council and District is giving out? There may be a simple solution to your
problem; attend Roundtable! Roundtables are very informative
and can be used as an asset to your unit. In the future, please try to
send someone from your unit to monthly Roundtables. The information gap
will dramatically shrink if you do. The purpose of Roundtable is to
help units succeed by providing useful program ideas, information on
policy, leadership training, and current information on upcoming Council
and District events and training opportunities. Roundtables are the best
way to find out what's going on!
